The Great Communicators is an indie post-rock group in the tradition of bands such as Bombay bicycle club, Autolux and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, formed in the early autumn of 2012.
After two years of struggling, moving from one place in the city to another, they managed to write and grind their unique sound.
Recorded in The Basement in The Hague, The Netherlands
they found Canadian producer David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene) as a perfect match to mix their debut EP;
‘Bide your Time’
An ode to the patient ones.
It will be released at Saturday 12th of April in Pakhuis Wilhelmina, Amsterdam.
The Great Communicators are:
Arend Dijkstra - lead vocals, guitar
Tim Hoekstra - guitar
Alexander van den Kleyenburg - vocals, guitar
Timothy Dunn - Bass guitar, vocals
Marco Burggraf - Drums
